Every sentence shape from the cadence table, grouped by what it does — browse the variations and judge for yourself what a sentence could be instead. Shapes marked “in your text” already appear in what you’ve written above.
Rhythm
One block per syllable — tall = stressed, short = unstressed; striped = a long unstressed run. Block width follows how long the syllable takes to say; block color is its vowel (gold = bright, blue = dark, grey = neutral — toggle “vowel color” off to see stress clashes in red). The line above is the predicted pitch of a neutral reading; arcs below join repeated sounds. Click a block to override it: stressed → unstressed → skip → auto.
Sentence variety
Each sentence classified by structure — independent and dependent clauses, fragments — with its function and opener. Varied lengths, structures, and openings are what keep prose from droning; the notes below the mix flag monotony.
